When Meghan and I started out to do “Mindfulness in Texas Nature,” we had an ambitious list of places. Then the pandemic and (for her) day jobs got in the way. But I’m glad to hear how much you want to do and how the “know the place” aspect of it will figure in as much as it can. Gonna be great, and hopefully fun!

I have already started revising a few things in my approach, at least in my head! Otherwise it would be very difficult to accomplish!

Good topic. My WTX upbringing come with an anti-ETx bias reinforced by 3 semesters in Nacogdoches. The Botany of the BT is fascinating though. I don’t envy your summer explorations however. Smells of Deet. 😎

Interestingly, sometimes mosquitoes aren't too bad in the Thicket, though this year was one in which they reigned supreme. Early spring rains had them out in full force!

I can see how 3 semesters in Nac might make a person crazy if you aren't used to the region!
