You’ve fought so hard. I can’t imagine how devastated and angry you must feel. I don’t live in your community, or even in Texas, but things like this still hit home.
Every time I hear of sites that include native flora, animal and bird habitats being gobbled up by so called developers I feel sick for the loss and so ashamed of the humans who do such things. They will give you a slue of reasons of why this makes sense. But it really comes down to money. Money is a drug for some people. Once they get their hands on a big chunk of money, they want more and more. They never have enough. They will destroy anything that gets in their way of obtaining more money. They are not to be reasoned with any more than you might reason with a sidewinder.

The $418 million number seems completely unreal. Todd Interests bought it five months ago for $103M, and it's quadrupled in values in five months???? I smell a rat.
