Breaking Development for Fairfield Lake State Park - Public Comments Needed
TPWD Commission is meeting tomorrow to discuss purchasing the entire 5,000 acres.
A quick note and I need some action from folks on this list:
Luke Metzger with Environment Texas posted to the SFLSP Facebook group this morning that the TPWD Commissioner’s were meeting today and tomorrow and that the state park was on the agenda for tomorrow’s Executive Session. It’s seems like last minute but you know what, if this gets it done, well, good!
What I need from y’all:
SUBMIT YOUR PUBLIC COMMENTS HERE - It’s a straight forward form, put your name, county of residence, fill out the other information at the top, and then you can submit your public input for two proposed real estate transactions, one of them being FLSP. You can just submit you AGREE COMPLETELY or you can also write in something in the comments along with that AGREE COMPLETELY.
HERE’S THE AGENDA ITEM - you can read through the agenda items completely at this link.
And the rest of the agenda for the two days can be read here.

That’s it. Let’s get this done! Tell your friends, family, post this to social media. Let’s send our support!
